  • The individual pads can be used by teams for collaboration-- this is the "public facing" page that should be kept relatively tidy
  •
Girls Inc. of Holyoke STEM program participants would like to explore hunger. They've identified hunger as an area of interest and want to create data visualizations as a way to tell the story of worldwide hunger over the years.

This pad is meant to be a place where we can share ideas that might be useful across multiple projects.

  • What's this "pad" about?
This hackpad is for the team working on this challenge to brainstorm, plan, collaborate, document, & generally use as it sees fit.  Listing ideas or to-dos, collaborating on website or presentation copy, and documenting decisions or goals are some ways you can use this pad-- feel free to delete this generic content and get started (once the hackathon is under way).
What's a "pad"?
A hackpad is a collaboratively edited document.  Basically it's a Google Document. It's different than a Google Doc because it allows to-do lists, embedded content, in-line, formatted code snippets, it automatically creates a Table of Contents (see sidebar), and does a couple other things differently.  Learn more about formatting a hackpad here and here and if you have questions try asking on IRC (irc.freenode.net channel: #hackforwesternmass) or just ask a H4WM organizer :emoji_1f638:
